Sailing With SV Delos! This is our story, a story of three souls sailing around the world. It is a story about sailing and travel and adventure. But its also a story about meeting amazing people and making life long friends. It's a story of people living their lives in an alternate way, in close connection with the beautiful people and amazing planet that we call home. Our experience has affected us so profoundly we want to share it, hoping that others may find inspiration to follow their dreams and do what they love.

We're going to sail the world. But first we have to fix our newly purchased, salvaged 2008 Beneteau 49! It's going to be an long battle with fiberglass..... lol. Fortunately we really like working on projects together and we are super excited to be making this boat a home for all our expeditions to come.

We are Becka and Zach and we want to give you the warmest welcome to the Teulu Tribe. Since meeting in 2018, it has always been our dream to buy a sailboat, and after lockdown and coming out of university, this idea seemed not only unrealistic but pretty insane. However, we worked hard, gained experience and in March 2022 bought our dream sailboat, a 1987 Colvic Victor ketch. Having little sailing experience and being a young couple, we have encountered a tonne of hurdles and made plenty of mistakes! but for every downfall, there has always been a reason to dust ourselves off and carry on. So hop on board, join our Teulu and lets see what this ‘living’ business is all about.
After working on super yachts as a chief engineer, I spend my life savings on a Lagoon 450 catamaran, damaged by Hurricane Irma. With no experience with Fibreglass whatsoever, me and a friend work tirelessly to get her ready to sail through the Caribbean. Subscribe to see more videos on how to fix a hurricane damaged boat, and to also follow their adventures throughout the Caribbean and on towards the Pacific! Hi! We are Ben & MP and we now own a massive wooden schooner that needs A LOT of work done. Many people told us the boat we chose was doomed, but we refuse to settle on that thought and we are going to do whatever it takes to make this boat a happy sailor again. We are both rookies when it comes to boat ownership and carpentry, so this is going to be a steep learning curve for us which we are ready to embrace. Luckily we found an amazing team of shipwrights that accepted the challenge of bringing Yabá back to life. But we are not only watching them work, besides documenting everything, we are also very keen to learn so we can do as much as possible ourselves, always knowing when to leave it to the experts. Follow our journey to watch how this story unfolds and... wish us luck! www.sailingyaba.com
As my husband and I entered our mid-40s, we realized we were completely exhausted with corporate America and the effect it was having on our marriage and our kids. Something definitely had to change. So, we saved some cash, gathered our four kids and, regardless of having no prior sailing experience, sold our suburban Texas home and bought a sailboat. Since the beginning of this crazy impromptu adventure in late 2016, we have now sailed over 30,000 nautical miles: the first year in a monohull (Beneteau 55’), the rest in a catamaran (Privilege 585). It's not our goal in these videos to be politically correct or make every viewer happy; nor is it to flaunt our obviously gorgeous and toned figures (not). We want to share honestly what we are experiencing on this adventure and how we are evolving as a family. We simply hope you laugh, learn, ponder, and get inspired. All videos will be basically rated TV-14.
Welcome aboard SV Nakama, We are Slim & Soph a young Aussie couple tryna get by living aboard our tiny retro sailboat with our cat Chilli. We sail the Australian coastline whilst attending university online and take you with us. After putting study on the back burner for years as we didn’t want to sacrifice adventure, we thought why not have both? Fed up with the outrageous rental prices in our hometown, the idea of doing it afloat came to mind. We figured we could scrape by on our tight student budget if we stopped paying way too much rent and lived minimally on the ocean, whilst continuing our passion for adventure. The plan for now, is to keep sailing onwards, keeping Australia to our left and once we're done doing that...Who knows. Our mission is to prove that anyone can do it, you don’t need the fanciest boat or a squillion bucks, just a whole lot of ambition and a willingness to make mistakes and learn. So join us on this whacky adventure! Slim & Soph xoxo
We are a Swedish couple who wanted a different kind of life. So we sold everything we owned and saved money for 1,5 years while living aboard our 40-foot custom built aluminium sailboat. Then we untied the lines in the middle of the Swedish winter in January 2016. After sailing half way around the world, we welcomed our daughter in the end of 2019 and bought a bigger boat (Najad 440) that we're now cruising on as a family. We want to share this sailing adventure with you and inspire you to live your dreams and to explore the world. We love making inspiring videos and upload a new episode every Friday!
This is the story of a small, capable sailboat named Seawind and her crew of two, Katy and Parker. Parker bought Seawind in 2016 with his entire savings and no clue what it would take to turn her into what she is today. Parker slowly tackled project after project, transforming this old boat into what he envisioned when they first met with the help of his dad and a few friends. Parker met Katy halfway through the five and a half year refit and have been inseparable ever since. Together, they have come a long way. They have learned the beautiful and brutal lessons that the water has to offer. They have come to know heartache and loss and to dance despite it all. Katy works a full-time job on the go, and Parker is creating and keeping the boat afloat, which presents its own unique challenges and opportunities. But at the end of the day, it's the desire to move slowly and live fully that makes it all worth it.
